  • Provide quotes linked to market (mandi) rates and respond to inquiries.
  • Coordinate deliveries, fabrication, and service updates.

Part B — Buyers, Vendors, Scrap Sellers & Finance Partners

6) KYC & Business Documentation

We may collect PAN, GST, Aadhaar, bank details, and related business documents from buyers, vendors, or scrap sellers via offline channels (email, WhatsApp, in-person). The website currently does not accept KYC uploads.

7) Finance Partners (Credit Facility)

We partner with independent third-party finance partners to help customers obtain a credit limit for purchasing materials. With your consent, we may share your KYC and relevant documents with such partners solely for credit assessment and onboarding. DhatuScrap does not provide in-house credit and is not responsible for third-party decisions or policies.

8) Logistics & Delivery

To fulfill orders, we may share delivery contact details and addresses with transporters/logistics partners for pickup, dispatch, and scheduling. We may also share cutting/fabrication instructions with service vendors.

9) Legal Basis & Responsibility

We process information to perform a contract or take steps at your request (quotes, orders, deliveries), comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, KYC), and for legitimate interests (service improvement, fraud prevention). Finance partners and logistics vendors process data under their own policies as independent controllers/processors, as applicable.

10) Data Retention (Business Partners)

We retain business records, including KYC collected offline, for as long as necessary to provide services and comply with applicable laws (e.g., tax/GST retention requirements). Finance partners retain copies under their own policies.
